[ Oh, looks like Astrid has something to say again - albeit not related to the draft, which she's obviously not on. No, this entry is brought to Luceti by her new attempt to read. Not that she's against reading - she read what little Berk had to offer, back home - but it is not her main hobby or even in the top ten.

But she's trying! Which is...something, anyway. ]

Hey. So, I assume some of the books in the library are from other worlds. I mean - I know they are, but I assume they're from the worlds of people here?

So I thought I might ask if anyone has recommendations. Preferably for something with action. But I'll try anything, I guess. That would make it a lot easier than just picking things at random based on title. ...Which is the worst way to choose a book, apparently. Or my luck is just bad today.

[ And if she sounds mildly uncomfortable asking for book recommendations, it's just because she's asking for book recommendations and that's entirely new and weird. ]

Oh, I like fairy tales! Especially Grimm's fairy tales, whoever that is wrote a lot of them.

Oh, they did? It's a bunch of stories though, yeah. Like the one about the bear who was actually a prince!

Oh, okay! Well um, the prince was turned into a bear by a really mean dwarf, but in the end he killed the dwarf and turned human again, and everybody lived happily ever after. Except the dwarf I guess, but he was always grumpy anyway.

I don't think so....I think he just did it because he got mad at him. The dwarf got mad at some girls in the story whenever they helped him, too, and then he told the bear to eat them instead of him, but they'd helped the bear too so he didn't eat them.

That's right! Or maybe he had a reason, but the story didn't say.

Mm...yeah, I guess they are. I hadn't thought about it before, but why was he so grumpy, anyway?
